Long Island City in the frigid cold!

I dragged Jono to Long Island City on my birthday weekend, where we walked around 5 Pointz and then killed time before it got dark and we could begin our night shooting at Gantry State Park. It was definitely way too cold – FREEZING, in fact! So needless to say, we didn’t last long.

Snowy Central Park, take 2.

Jono and I had originally planned to spend the day in NJ taking pictures of the NYC skyline, but the sky was cloudy and visibility was low. And then we drove through Central Park to get to the west side and everything looked so lovely covered in snow that we changed plans and decided to wander around the park instead. Good call, I say!

Jono and I set out to explore Central Park after the first real snow of the year, but didn’t even make it past the SE corner. Oops!
