Well, it finally happened: I witnessed the filming of Sex and the City 2 in Manhattan today. They only began last week, but not surprisingly people have been going nuts over it. Few by few, the castmembers have been appearing on the set. I think today was the first time the 4 main characters appeared together? I must have just missed it though because only Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristin Davis (Carrie & Charlotte) were shooting in the afternoon. They were filming near Bergdorf Goodman and The Plaza Hotel. I find that the crew is less likely to hassle me when I try to get up close because I have a big paparazzi-like camera and don’t look like a dumbass tourist with a p&s :)

But oh, in a few shots I was actually able to see a list of contacts on Kristin Davis’ blackberry screen! That is pretty ridiculous, right? Ah if only I had taken them at 20mp, I might actually have been able to make them out! Next time, next time.
