Emily and George are so great. I mean, with all the love they have for their cat, how can they not be? (Sidenote: I actually got to meet the famous Theo before our shoot. He’s a cutie!)
We wandered around Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo and were gifted with some AMAZING light to work with. They were even down to hop onto a loading dock for a few shots (e.g. the last one posted below). So much fun! Here are a few of my favorite shots:
We kicked off Kate and Paul’s engagement shoot in their neighborhood of Bay Ridge. I was psyched to be shooting in South Brooklyn – and even more excited to photograph them by the Verrazano Bridge (quite possibly my favorite bridge in allllll of NYC!). We made our way up to Dumbo for the second part of the shoot and I got to cross something off my NYC Bucket List: ride Jane’s Carousel! Arguably cheesy, and ergo absolutely PERFECT for engagement photos :)

Emily and George are about as chill as they come. Last weekend, we had a nice stroll through Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo, took some photos here and there, and talked about their upcoming wedding. About five minutes before Tricia & Tom’s engagement shoot, it started to rain. But with the Williamsburg Bridge beckoning, we couldn’t *NOT* cross it as planned (you know me and bridges!).
And so we frolicked across the bridge in the rain, umbrellas in hand (yup, I had my umbrella in one hand and camera in the other!), and had ourselves a blast. Tricia and Tom didn’t even seem to be bothered by the weather, which made this engagement session so much fun. Check out these super-cute shots we got!
Tricia & Tom’s engagement shoot got rained out last weekend. Go figure it started to rain about 5 minutes before our rescheduled shoot began this past weekend.
But you know I can never resist a good bridge, and we were standing right at the pedestrian entrance when the rain began, so it just seemed silly to call it off.
