I'm Lindsay! I love travel, coffee, cats, running, long walks anywhere... and of course, photography :) I was hired to take pictures at Round 2 of the Big Gay Spelling Bee at Nowhere Bar. Hosted by Susan Sunday and Tobly McSmith, the bee celebrates homosexuality (though all are invited to compete!). Not surprisingly, all of the words to spell are either sex-related or are used in a sexual context in the sample sentence. It was a fun night, especially for the winners who went home with dvds and prizes from Babeland!
Also… this event was particularly special because it was the first one I worked with a flash! I’m pretty pleased with the results, though I need to figure out the manual mode and how to *not* underexpose the shots.
