Even though I’m a Cornell grad, I loved getting to shoot inside of the Yale Club in NYC. Admittedly I’ve never been to the city’s Cornell Club (hey, I never said I had a whole lot of school pride!), but if it’s anything like the Yale Club – WHAT AM I WAITING FOR?!
K & N are ivy league grads who adored their schools – N went to Yale, while K attended Harvard. They got ready in the club hotel, then exchanged vows downstairs in the ballroom. We hopped onto the roof for a few quick photos before it started to rain and man, I still maintain that there’s nothing like a view of New York City from above. So beautiful up there!
Thanks to Kelly Prizel for inviting me along to shoot this wedding!
Colby and Dan got married this morning at NYC City Hall and I’m still not over the fact that it took us just 30 minutes to get in and out of there. (Future City Hall couples-to-be-wed, take note: 1 hour MINIMUM is the norm)
From the quick marriage process to the delightful fall weather to the beyond-amazing newlyweds I had the pleasure of photographing today, I had such a blast with Colby and Dan. Here’s a sneak peek of their post-wedding photo session in Central Park!
I had the best time wandering around Brooklyn and hanging out at City Hall with these fellow world travelers. Melissa and Jon, congrats again and thanks for having me as your NYC elopement photographer!
Gillian and Michael were supposed to tie the knot on Christmas Eve last year, but thanks to a big ice storm in Toronto and subsequent cancelled flights, they had to wait a few extra days to do it.
But no matter! They said “I do” at Manhattan City Hall, then let me whisk them off to Brooklyn to take some atmospheric portraits by the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a great winter day in New York!
Melissa and Jon came back to NYC to tie the knot after living in Colombia for the past year. I absolutely loved galavanting around Park Slope, Brooklyn and swapping travel stories with them.
Lots more to come from these two soon!
