I’m terribly behind on sharing my travel photos on this blog! I’m only halfway through posting about my Asia trip from nearly 2 years ago – not to mention my travels since then through Canada, the US, Colombia, Iceland, and Australia.
If you’re into travel photography, I highly recommend you check out my travel blog, Frugal Frolicker – which I update much more regularly these days. You can also follow me on instagram for real time photo updates!
In the meantime, here’s a batch of images I took in Cambodia, from April 24 – May 8, 2013. I was without my Canon 5d Mark III for 6 weeks while it was getting repaired in Bangkok, so all of these photos were taken with a small point-and-shoot camera. While I traveled from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville, I focused more on documenting the beautiful sights nearby at the Angkor temples and the island of Koh Rong.

Last year I did a double couples shoot in NYC with Ianis & Jose Luis and Maria & Fer. They all flew up from Mexico to vacation and celebrate Christmas in NYC. I was honored that they wanted to spend part of their holiday taking pictures around the city with me. From Brooklyn to Central Park, we had a great time hopping around this fantastic city.
I had such a blast shooting Colby and Dan’s NYC elopement. For starters, we set a new record for fastest-ever city hall wedding. In and out in just 30 minutes on a Friday? HOW?!! Yup, I’m still not over it.
And it only got better from there. With all that extra time we had, we hopped on the subway and headed uptown to Central Park, which is just about the best place to be in New York during fall. I had these two cozy up on a bridge, on a bench, by the fountain, on stairs, and on some massive rocks – it didn’t matter where they were, they totally rocked every location.
C & D, I wish you a fantastic new year in El Salvador! :)
Even though I’m a Cornell grad, I loved getting to shoot inside of the Yale Club in NYC. Admittedly I’ve never been to the city’s Cornell Club (hey, I never said I had a whole lot of school pride!), but if it’s anything like the Yale Club – WHAT AM I WAITING FOR?!
K & N are ivy league grads who adored their schools – N went to Yale, while K attended Harvard. They got ready in the club hotel, then exchanged vows downstairs in the ballroom. We hopped onto the roof for a few quick photos before it started to rain and man, I still maintain that there’s nothing like a view of New York City from above. So beautiful up there!
Thanks to Kelly Prizel for inviting me along to shoot this wedding!
Colby and Dan got married this morning at NYC City Hall and I’m still not over the fact that it took us just 30 minutes to get in and out of there. (Future City Hall couples-to-be-wed, take note: 1 hour MINIMUM is the norm)
From the quick marriage process to the delightful fall weather to the beyond-amazing newlyweds I had the pleasure of photographing today, I had such a blast with Colby and Dan. Here’s a sneak peek of their post-wedding photo session in Central Park!
